Ali Maan
Ali is a second-year psychology student on the pre-medical track at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is actively involved in neuroimaging research at the TReNDS Center and serves as a research analyst for the Yale School of Medicine, focusing on dynamic functional network connectivity and structural cortical changes following brain tumor surgery. He is passionate about sports and medicine. In his free time, he runs a community soccer league and plays competitive pickup soccer.

Isa is a Neuroscience major and Philosophy minor at UC Berkeley on the premed track. He works as an EMT, serves on one too many student organization boards, and does neuroscience research at UCSF. Outside of all this you'll find him playing basketball, side questing outdoors, or writing for his Substack.

Yusuf is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where he studied Neuroscience and served as President of the Muslim Students Association. He has research experience in immunology at UCSF and is currently contributing to pediatric ophthalmology research. In his free time, you can find him on a hiking trail, playing soccer, or watching movies.

Loaah Eltemsah
Loaah is a rising second-year medical student at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Public Health and Natural Science. Later, she completed her master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. She is passionate about medical education, health innovation, and patient advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys language learning, journaling, and trying new cafes.

Zaid Ashruf
Zaid is an undergraduate at Columbia University studying Bio and Poli-Sci. He currently conducts clinical research on a rare vascular disease called fibromuscular dysplasia and its interaction with stroke outcomes. He's interested in biotech and pharma, with experience in venture-side market research, and is also drawn to healthcare policy. Outside of research, he volunteers at a free clinic that helps uninsured patients and refugees associated with his masjid. In his free time, he reads political philosophy, follows MMA, and is constantly disappointed by Cleveland sports teams.

Merna Shehata
Merna is a rising senior at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), where she is pursuing a major in Premedical Health Studies and a minor in Health Psychology. She serves as an Event Coordinator and Secretary on the MCPHS UNICEF Executive Board. With a strong interest in understanding healthcare through multiple perspectives, she is passionate about advancing accessible, accurate health education and literacy. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, discovering new cafés, and playing racquet sports.
